The Native Americans were the first in the US ( DUH that is why they are called Native Americans! ). They used bows to hunt animals, they even fish with those. Some of the animals they hunted that where on land were buffaloes and buffaloes are really hard to hunt because they are big and they might charge at you. If that happens you might die because the horns of the buffalo are hard and your skin is not, so you might bleed to death. Another is if the horns of a buffalo hits a natives' arm, it might fall off and it might get gangrene and if a native gets that, he might die because the natives probably do not know how to treat gangrene and then the native will probably die horribly, ( remember you should not search for a picture of gangrene because it looks really horrible ).
Native Americans did not really know how to treat injuries or sicknesses well because it was the old days like they probably did not know how to treat gangrene ( remember do not search image of gangrene ). The best way I know to stop it is by cutting off the body part that is infected by gangrene and I don't think the natives would try that because it is gross to cut off a body part and they were probably horrified by gangrene and they would be too scared to touch it. They might be thinking that they might get infected so they did nothing to the body part that is infected by gangrene. The natives were good at killing animals because they killed buffalo and they are tough and they are hard to kill with just a bow and arrow because the arrow does not hurt it much if it hits the body but it will hurt if it hits the leg it will hurt it a lot because it might fall down.
The Native Americans did not have much of the stuff we have now like they did not have computers because computers take a long time to make and you need to know a lot of stuff to make a computer they did not even have the wheel and we need wheels for a lot of transport like cars, airplanes ( airplanes do have wheels ) and a lot of other stuff need the wheel, the wheel, nobody made a wheel until one person did and then he found out they roll, the Native Americans did not even know how to write before, people were not really smart in those days, it was really long ago when only the natives were in America, a really long time. The natives were probably surprised when they learned about guns because they shoot bullets that are really strong and also the guns make a big sound so the natives were scared of the guns for that reason also.
The natives had to get everything themselves, like they had to hunt themselves and get fruit themselves, there lives were harder than ours because they could not buy food, but they could trade with each other but usually they had to kill the animals all by themselves like the buffalo are strong but if you kill it you will have a big dinner, if one animals is easier than the other animal, you can still kill the harder one because the harder one will probably be bigger than the easier one and you will have a big dinner but the easier one will be easy but you will have a smaller dinner, they can choose on than the other but sometimes they kill only the weaker one but some kill the stronger one, they were good at hunting that is why they survived and there is still some alive now but they are not pure natives.
